At the Tenuta Vannulo, even the locals queue up for the weekend just to get the fresh, award-winning Mozzarella di buffalo. That must mean something! But there is no better buffalo mozzarella than here. And those who are interested in the production only have to look behind the house through the big windows and can watch how the gentlemen form and pluck the round balls out of the milk of the 200 buffalos, which are heated to 36 degrees, with almost choreographic movements and fast hands. Those who have a weakness for creamy ricotta will also get their money’s worth here. And if you have a little time left, stand at one of the bar tables and enjoy a Granita Al Caffe with wonderfully soft buffalo milk foam.
