Ideally situated next to a cultural and architectural epicenter, the Disney Concert Hall, there is now a new spectacular building: the Broad Museum, generously donated by billionaire Eli Broad and his wife, Edythe to present their collection. The concrete cloud, as some people refer to it, is accessible via a glass elevator. The architecture gives way to plenty of imaginative comparisons and the exterior resembles a honeycomb-exoskeleton. Inside, the collection offers work by all the contemporary names- from Jeff Koons, Neo Rauch, Anselm Kiefer to Murakami and Damien Hirst. Entry is free, the views, pieces of art and interior are breathtaking. Be sure to reserve online tickets in advance.
