A concept store for fashion victims. Designer pieces from labels such as Carven, Raf Simons, 3.1., Philip Lim, Christophe Lemaire, and Cedric Charlier can be found throughout the two-floor shop. These, of course are not merely hanging on run-of-the-mill clothes racks, but rather are presented in a well-organized fashion on metal creations which are never overcrowded. Jewelery and coffe table books on the subjects of photography, architecture, and art, among which are some out of print editions such as American Prospects by Joel Sternfeld, are also part of the boutique’s assortment. The proprietors Anais Lafarge, Guillaume Steinmetz, and Romain Jost, who previously ran the lifestyle website “De Jeunes Gens Modernes” together, have managed to bring all of their favorite labels under one roof with this store. Not only that, they have created a perfect combination of fashion and food, for The Broken Arm also includes a café which serves homemade sandwiches, pumpkin bread, and good coffee.
