The Coffee Gang has already officially been awarded the title of “Cologne’s best café”. A great deal of care goes into the selection of coffees in particular – preferably from roasters who use directly traded coffee beans wherever possible. These are then freshly ground and brewed by hand. They are accompanied by milk from regional organic farmers. So it’s hardly surprising that owner Assadi, who runs the small coffee bar with his wife Micki, lived in Australia for two years and fell in love with the coffee culture there! In the summer months, be sure to try the “Cascara”, an iced tea freshly brewed from coffee cherries. Also interesting is the “Black Tonic”, double espresso mixed with tonic water on ice. The classics are of course also recommended!
