The Townhouse Weisses Kreuz is a wonderful example of how you can preserve old structures without sacrificing modern amenities. Old elements have been skillfully combined with modern ones. For example, old ceilings were carefully uncovered and concrete ceilings were installed above them to improve sound and fire protection. The result is a completely successful, contemporary, cool luxury ambience in the heart of Salzburg. Fortunately, the beautiful existing structure has been retained, giving the whole hotel a unique character. A visit to the White Cross is a must, especially for architecture lovers.
