Berlin has a new pub with the Trip, and it has immediately become a favourite place. More precisely, a modern pub with charm and the best ingredients. The Trio, run by Eva Alken, Clemens Roesch and Vadim Otto Ursus, known from Restaurant Otto in Prenzlauer Berg, is located behind the Volksbühne and enchants with its cosy ambience. The dark red tables, wooden chairs and the large bar in the centre immediately create a feeling of comfort. No complicated menus are served, just good food: you should definitely try the traditional sausage salad or the refreshing chicory salad with a fine vinaigrette and walnuts. For main courses, classic specialities such as mushroom or game goulash and crispy fried chicken are on the menu. Cherry on the top is the delicious apple strudel for dessert. The Trio is a place for body and soul, where hearty food and warm hospitality harmonise perfectly.
