Ultner Brot is an institution in South Tyrol. The bakery Ultner Brot was founded in 1919 and since then it has been at home in the village centre of St. Walburg in the Ulten Valley at 1,150 metres above sea level. The passionate art of baking of the master baker and grandson Richard and his great creativity have produced unique products. No wonder that Ulten bread is known far beyond the borders of the Ulten Valley. Despite the ongoing modernisation of its bakery and the use of modern technology, the bakery has remained true to its traditional roots and still manufactures all its products by hand.
