Nytorget Urban Deli is located on the island Södermalm south to the historic center. Few tourists come here, but instead you will see many young hipsters, artists and designers from Stockholm’s so-called SoFo Scene. SoFo is short for “South of Folkungagatan“, a hip quarter on Södermalm. Nytorget Urban Deli is a successful combination of market hall, delicatessen and restaurant. Long wooden benches and tables invite to sit down. The kitchen offers small snacks, fish and meats. There is a weekly changing menu; sometimes it is “French Invasion”, sometimes “Chili week”.
