The beautiful High Renaissance villa in Travestere was built by a Tuscan banker who wanted to show off his wealth. The villa is not only an architectural work of art, it also has a lot to offer inside, such as artistic ceiling paintings by Raffellino del Colle and Giulio Romano. The villa is open to the public as a museum and houses a graphic collection. But the visit is already worthwhile because of the wonderful garden and the many beautiful views of the architecture.
