Every fan of Zurich FCZ knows the legendary Volkshaus on the Helvetiaplatz. If you go there for the first time, the high and spacious rooms, with their impressive panorama windows, will immediately invite you to stay longer. And if you feel like it, you can relax here the whole day because the Volkshaus is a cafe and restaurant at the same time. The restaurant is divided into small, cosy booths, which, with their striped fabric, keep the Wilhelminian style charm alive. A perfect Saturday; first have breakfast in the Volkshaus and then stroll through the flea market on Helvetiaplatz opposite. Or, the other way around, so you don’t miss the bargains.
