The poet and composer Hans Hennry Jahnn from Hamburg used to live in this more than 200 year old thatched cottage which is idyllically situated in the Hirschpark above the Elbe. After a pleasant walk along the Elbe, this is the place to go for tea and cake or if you feel like something savoury try their spicy bread with cottage cheese and fresh herbs. Everything is fresh from their own in-house bakery, traditionally baked according to old recipes. On Sundays and public holidays the Witthüs is very popular for brunching. Making a reservation is necessary.
