In the middle of the Schanzenviertel, one of the few cool Hamburg districts, lies the Witwenball. Here, everything is simply great. The food, the people, the atmosphere, the setting. Always fully booked, an insider tip for young and old who like to eat and drink well in a lively atmosphere. There are rather few dishes on the menu, 4 x 4 is the motto. If you opt for the 4-course menu, which costs just under €70, you can choose from four dishes per course. With meat, fish, vegetarian options, there is something for everyone. And best of all, all the dishes are also available à la carte. However, the Widow’s Ball is so cosy that you won’t want to leave. The homemade bread with whipped butter is so good that everyone wants more. Add to that the good cocktails and special wines. A recommendation that couldn’t be warmer.
