One of the nicest places in Vienna: delicatessen, wine, meats and an intimate restaurant with top notch service. Since 1825 the Schwarze Kameel has been serving Viennese gentry who wanted to escape the stiff manners of their circle without getting too close to the common folk. In 1901 the building underwent an Art Nouveau makeover. The same family has lovingly watched over the business for two generations ensuring consistent atmosphere and quality. Try the “Beinschinken”, (ham), with fresh “Kren”, (horseradish). A Smart Travelling favorite!
