Aethos Milano

Behind an unassuming façade in the Navigli district, Aethos Milano opens onto a courtyard that sets the tone: plenty of greenery, raw walls, soft lighting. The venue deliberately plays on its industrial origins, countering them with warm materials. Wood, leather, heavy fabrics, alongside individual pieces of furniture that look more like they’ve been collected than carefully selected. Downstairs, everything flows into one another – bar, restaurant, lounge – an open space with different zones where the evening slowly comes to life. The cuisine stays true to Italian produce, yet feels lighter, with a contemporary twist. The rooms are fascinating. There is no uniformity here, but rather varied layouts, high ceilings, large windows, often with a view of the courtyard. Instead of classic boutique hotel décor, there is a sense of lived-in space, more like a Milanese studio than a hotel. That is precisely what makes this place so special.
