This restaurant is situated in the City, the new bank district, and is an oasis of tradition. For decades Sweetings has been known for its English fish dishes, which are served at plain wooden tables against a backdrop of tiled walls. Here and there one notices old kitchen utensils, almost as though they have been forgotten.
