Hippy Market

The hippy market in Sant Joan is for us one of the most beautiful hippy markets on the island. The combination of farmer’s and hippie market, the location in the middle of the still very original village, the relaxed atmosphere and the colourful mixed audience make Sant Joan our favourite. Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. you can buy handcrafted handicrafts, jewellery, clothing, bags, antiques and scenic as well as culinary products from the island at the lovingly curated stands. The atmosphere is especially great from 12 noon – after mass in the beautiful church – because then a live band plays on the village square. Nevertheless, it is worth coming to the village early to avoid the traffic chaos and to stop for breakfast at The Giri Café before strolling.
