The Agriturismo Terre di Himera is a charming agriturismo in the hinterland of Palermo, just a few kilometres from Cefalu. Already the arrival is a dream and leads along never ending fields, with view on the azure blue sea. Once you have arrived, you will be warmly welcomed by the owners. One soon notices that Terre di Himera is still one of the classically beautiful family businesses as one imagines them. In the evening Silvia herself stands at the wood stove and conjures up a dinner of the finest quality for her guests – homemade at its best. The ingredients come mostly directly from the own garden or from farms in the neighbourhood. And the rooms? The rooms are decorated in a lovingly rustic style with unplastered brick walls, antique furniture and handcrafted handicrafts from the region.
