Alpenrose is a wonderfully preserved restaurant from the early 20th century. Amiable and humorous owners Katharina Sinninger and Tine Giacobbo attach great importance to selected organic produce from the Zurich region and know how to create delicious compositions. Reading the menu makes you feel like traveling to the best Swiss farms yourself, where fisherman Ruf from the Au peninsula is catching his whitefish and butcher Heinzer from Muotha Valley is preparing his Black Forest ham. Be sure not to miss the “Pizokeli” with ham from the Muotha Valley and tender savoy, they are unforgettably delicious.
