The Alperie was born out of an idea during the Corona period to set up a pop-up restaurant in the space next to the former Restaurant Sachs, which is also family-owned. The Alperie is primarily intended for winter and rainy days when you want to cosy up in the warm. There is also the Alpenbiergarten with a view of Jägerkamp and Brecherspitz, including a pond where the “Little Schliersee trout” swim. The food is fresh and regional: from Monaco to Neuhaus, there are no limits to creativity. There are all kinds of fish from the Schliersee fishery, and almost all the other products come from the region; you won’t find avocados or tuna on the menu. The Alperie brings a touch of “chic” to the Bavarian Lake District, so the restaurant is not a classic Bavarian beer garden or pub, but a place where things are a little more upmarket and accordingly more expensive.
