The AW Café is a real neighbourhood café around Isabellastraße and also a real insider tip. To be precise, the architects’ office Arnold/Werner is behind AW and the café originally served as a coffee bar for the architects working there. Gradually, the idea developed of not opening the café to external guests as well, et voila, here we are. From 8 o’clock in the morning, you can come here to drink coffee and eat croissants, talk to the staff and get a breath of architectural air. And before or after that, the nearby Old North Cemetery is a good place for a walk.
