Bambou is housed in a former textile workshop in the heart of the Le Sentier district. The exotically decorated space is mainly frequented by fashionistas and hipsters. Completely redesigned by renowned interior designers, Bambou takes you back to an old colonial house in Siam. When you enter the large dining room, the black lacquered parquet floor contrasts with the white wooden beams of the high ceiling. Bamboo birdcages and large ceiling fans complete the perfect picture. Between the aisles, be sure to take a look at the cosy petit salon, the billiard room or the cocktail bar. But Bambou is not just about atmosphere. The restaurant also serves heavenly Thai cuisine, after all. Steamed dim-sums, fried prawns with spicy lime sauce or fresh exotic salads as starters, classic pad-thai or curries as main courses, and mango coconut sticky rice for dessert!
