Crown a visit to the Mercado l’Olivar with a couple of crispy, fired sardines. The fish tapas here are freshly caught. How could it be otherwise right at the source? The market men and women also treasure that quality and often take their lunch here. As one would imagine then, there is quite a hustle and bustle around the hotly contested stools, which, thankfully have a high turnover rate. Try everything or otherwise just order whatever is on your neighbor’s plate. But don’t miss the sardines! Fried up every couple of minutes, they are the must-have at the Bar del Peix.
