Relais de la Magdeleine

In search of morbid, noble charm, this property is the right place for you. Built in the 18th century, the Bastide Relais de la Magdeleine still looks like a cocoon from another era. On the winding four floors of the house there are the elegantly and stylishly furnished suites, each with its own library, leather benches, dining room with tapestries and a living room with a crackling fireplace. While in the morning an army of white-shodd waitresses scurries around the terrace and sets the tables with delicious croissants, baguettes with mirabelles, confiture and coffee, in the evening you sit by candlelight in the playful iron furniture and enjoy the Provencal cuisine. After a change of ownership there is now a breakfast buffet and something of the magic of the old days has been lost. Nevertheless it is still a great price-performance ratio and a wonderful place. The menu is very gourmet and therefore unnecessarily expensive.
