Bodegas Angel is located in the heart of Mallorcan wine-growing near Santa Maria. The location couldn’t be better – the proximity to the mountains creates a unique microclimate that gives the wine expression and intensity. Behind this wine empire is Andrés Gelabert, a widely travelled winemaker. Born on Mallorca, he and his parents moved to America. But after his studies the longing for his homeland arises and Gelabert returns to the island, with an American accent that still resonates today. His repertoire includes Mallorcan grape varieties such as Prensal Blanc and Mante Negro, but also French classics such as Merlot and Caberent. If you visit Angel, you can get an introduction to the world of wines, taste them and, of course, buy them.
