Once there, you can dine in the restaurant, which is one of the top ten in South Africa, and in the old manor house, which continues to impress. The best time here, however, is at lunchtime, when young families and locals gather on the large lawn under the shady oaks for the legendary picnic lunch. It is highly recommended to book in advance.
