Every Saturday, Romans flock to the Mercato di Campagna Amica, near the former velodrome. This farmers’ market is an absolute foodie paradise! Around 100 exhibitors come together here, all of whom stand for the “0km” philosophy with their stalls and products. This means that all food products are not only from the current season, but are also produced or grown in Lazio. Pecorino, extra virgin olive oil, honey, sausages, dried pulses and many other delicacies await you here. Of course, you can also eat something on site; the fresh bread with sheep’s cheese, a few slices of prosciutto and a good piece of fruit are delicious. What more could you want!
