A little further out of the town centre and subsequently much less tourtisty is the Canterbury, located in the perfectly preserved art nouveau quarter Ixelles. People come here not only for it’s amiable ambience but also for the excellent quality “filet américan”. Also served here is the typical Belgium dish “gentse waterzooi”, a delicious creamy chicken stew.
