The Casa e Bottega is refreshingly different and a little jewel of the healthy lifestyle, in the middle of the lively Via Pasitea in Positano. Exactly, not a typical Italian coffee bar with cornettos, instead salad heads, carrot bunches, tomatoes and herbs pile up behind the counter. And Tanina Vanacore and Fanny Pirillo, dressed in linen dresses and with bast hats on their heads, are standing in front of the counter telling their guests about the latest “healthy shit”. The two have set themselves the goal of serving a light, fresh cuisine prepared exclusively with ingredients from the region. The menu has something to offer from smoothies, vegan salads, breakfasts, paninis to heavenly cakes – especially the lemon cheese cake is a must.
