Comporta is like a better version of the Hamptons, less show-off, more character and vastness. In the middle is the impressive house Casa Na Areia. Originally, host João was looking for a summer house for the family, south of Lisbon. Together with the architect Manuel Aires Mateus, he built his purist beach hut in the oasis town of Comporta. After numerous publications in popular architecture magazines and the ensuing rush of friends and strangers, he decided to officially let the house. What luck! You can book the whole house with kitchen from 500 Euro per night.
