The Olympus for truffle lovers! And Clément Bruno himself is enthroned on it. Like the Don Corleone of truffles, he sits in the shade of his restaurant and keeps a close eye on an army of waiters pampering the guests. On the sun-dappled terrace of the family estate, with statues and trompe-l’oeil painted walls, they serve delicacies in which the divines tubercules, the divine tubers, play the leading role. The 6-course menus are calculated according to the type of truffle, costing between 80 euros with the truffe fraîche tuber aestivum and 200 euros with the legendary Alba truffle. The aperitif of rosé wine and grapefruit juice and the amuse-gueule of toasted white bread with olive oil and grated truffle are delicious. This is followed by a mushroom soup with foie gras and truffles, handmade fettuccini with Alba truffles, squab pâté (with truffles, of course) or, optionally, tender fillet of beef with a garnish of porcini mushrooms and truffles. All this is eaten with silver cutlery engraved with truffles on plates decorated with truffles.
In the background, a splashing fountain accompanies the hustle and bustle, while you sit in the most wonderful light, completely relaxed, for hours on end and can’t get enough.
If you want to completely surrender to the truffle hunt, you can rent one of Bruno’s five rooms (from 200 euros), which are located right next to the restaurant.
