Handmade bakery products are becoming more and more a rarity. But not at the Chiemseebäcker Sturmhofer. Only local ingredients are used here, such as Chieminger well water, milk, eggs and flour from controlled organic farms. The pumpkin seed bread is already bought by tourists at home anyway, but you should definitely try the “handdrahde Brezn”, which is simply perfect – spread with butter, not too thick, not too salty, but wonderfully slippery. If you want to eat in the café, sit down on the small terrace.
