The Hotel Corte San Pietro takes its guests on a journey back in time to 8000 years. Located about an hour’s drive southwest of Bari, this hotel is located in the World Heritage city of Matera. It is the place of origin of the cave settlements. Hidden in the alleys of this charming and impressive city, a small holy empire opens up in the Corte San Pietro. With only five rooms, it is as personal as with an Italian family. But apart from the hospitality, the rooms in the stone vaults are the real eye-catchers and an absolute highlight for all architecture freaks, art lovers and people with a sense for beauty.
