The small, intimate Deco Bar serves cocktails like no one has ever seen before. ‘Modern bartending’ is what the supposedly very cosmopolitan bartenders call it. Thanks to innovative techniques, they promise a ‘cocktail evolution’, a ‘reinterpretation of the past’. The old classics – unrecognisable. Boiled peas end up on the ‘Whiskey Highball’, the ‘Margaritas’ are with butter, the ‘Pina Colada’ with nuts. Unusual, creative, perhaps a little unusual at times.
