If you step through the door of the Dersou, you should lower your expectations a little, ignore or enjoy the radically understated furnishings and let Taku Sekine’s creative fusion kitchen convince you and spoil you. It is best to ask for one of the seats at the counter, as from here, one has a first-class view to the Japanese cook at work. The menu consists of different tasting menus, where each course is served with a matching cocktail.
