For more than 100 years, the Untersee Island in Kyritz has been a popular destination for Berliners and Brandenburgers. The 1.3-hectare circular island is home to a large brick building that has served as a restaurant for a wide variety of operators. From Soljanka to fish sandwiches there was already everything here. Since summer 2014 there are organic burgers and tarte flambée and anyway the island got a thorough make over and lost a letter. This new style is due to the three Berliners Lars, Rosemarie and Kai, who have already successfully mixed up the food and party scene in the capital. Since the three have been playing the Insl, on sunny summer afternoons soft electric tones often sound across the meadow and hip end-twenties swing on oversized swings. The Insl can only be reached by ferry boat, which leaves in front of the car park on the Seestraße and comes when you hit the gong.
