At Riad Baoussala you feel more like visiting friends than in a guesthouse. About 9 km outside Essaouira and only accessible via an adventurous gravel road, the Frenchwoman Dominique has created a place to come down and relax. For dinner, one meets together in the inner courtyard and during the day, one has the choice between the beach, the hammock at the pool or, nevertheless, rather the deck chair on the roof terrace. The guesthouse is maintained in a very environmentally conscious way, a matter close to Dominique’s heart – for example, the hot water is heated by a biomass boiler.
