Platja de Mitjorn is not quite as Caribbean and less spectacular than Formentera’s most beautiful beaches, but it is very relaxed. A refreshingly colourful mix of people huddle around the Sunsplash beach shack, and there is plenty to see. Everything your heart desires can be found in a relatively small area. Wide sandy beaches, ideal for children as well as nudists, a casual beach shack and the wonderfully unpretentious beach restaurant Sa Platgeta. Red chairs, wooden tables and white plastic tables are hidden under a thatched roof and shady trees, where families and friends dine extensively in large groups. The sea peeps out from behind the bushes and trees, sparkling and glistening. The fish are super fresh, delicious, for example, the deep-fried baby squid, “calamarsons arrebossats”, but also the “bullit de peix”. In general, all the typical, simple fish dishes are to be recommended. Very hidden, very simple, very nice! High beach and feel-good factor!
