Where the legendary Lucky once stood, Formentera has gained a new favorite chiringuito, the Amar. Hidden away at kilometer 7.8 on the wild Migjorn beach, the wooden structure blends naturally into the landscape. Here, things are rough, simple, and authentic—barefoot in the sand, with the sea right in front of you. Sol Courreges Bone brings her artistic touch to the place, her works lending it a special depth. Amar is not a loud, trendy bar, but a place where the original hippie spirit of Formentera remains palpable.
