Ellerman House

The Ellmann House is the hotel with the most beautiful view of Cape Town. From the sophisticated garden terrace and most of the rooms you can overlook the sea and the freighters passing by in the distance. With a bit of luck you can even spot whales and dolphins. The hotel itself has only 13 rooms, which are housed in an elegant Art Nouveau villa from the early 20th century. Further rooms are located in the simple new villa building next door. The restaurant is great, the service friendly, discreet and very attentive at the same time. Unfortunately the Ellermann House is not open to the public. But if you are a guest here, you live in absolute peace and quiet from the outside world.
