The Trattoria Ferro di Cavallo is situated in a side street of the Via Roma and you can’t eat more typical in Palermo. No wonder, since Ferro di Cavallo has existed since 1944 and has been felt since the first day until today, the inhabitants of the district still love the legendary “Pasta al nero di Seppia”. The atmosphere is at least as authentic as the dishes, the Italian atmosphere is cloudy, the interior is rustic, whoever wants can sit at one of the tables outside, directly at the alley and the menu is only available in Italian and is printed on the paper tablecloth. Those who sit here quickly feel as if they belong to the locals of Palermo. Of course, it should also be mentioned that the kitchen is not only excellent, but also the prices are adapted to the locals. What more could you ask for?
