Frau Mahér is a real eco-warrior and places a great deal of importance on sustainability in her restaurant. This starts with purchasing: the suppliers are Fairtrade-certified, the fruit and vegetables are organically grown, and of course mainly regionally and seasonally. During preparation, the chefs ensure that energy is saved, little water is used and waste is avoided. Ms Mahér’s ambitious goal is to become CO2-neutral as quickly as possible. The menu offers a wide selection that will delight both meat and fish lovers, as well as vegetarians and, in particular, vegans. The Vietnam Bowl, a fresh and delicious dish that is offered in different variations during ‘Bowling Week’, is particularly popular. In the evening, guests can also try the ‘Vegan Bites’, small snacks that go perfectly with the organic wines on offer. ‘Frau Maher trinkt rot’ (Ms Maher drinks red), so dark grape varieties predominate on the menu. Cocktails are also available in every colour. The restaurant is open for breakfast, where the jams and nut nougat cream are homemade, and all products are certified organic. Ecological standards meet enjoyment. Ms Mahér sets a good example.
