Gasthof Bad Dreikirchen

Sigmund Freud and Christian Morgenstein have already moved here to a hospitable “summer residence” from the 14th century. With a view of the opposite side of the Eisack Valley and the unusual wall and ceiling paintings in the dining room, the Gasthof Bad Dreikirchen is now a listed building.
The hospitality with which the owner Matthias Wodenegg welcomes you and his team takes care of you is wonderful. While in summer the terrace offers an impressive mountain panorama, on colder days you can relax in the music room with its crackling fireplace. The menu also has a lot to offer, as there are Tyrolean favourite dishes such as Schlutzkrapfen, Schmarrn or the popular in-house dumpling salad. If the weather allows it, you can lie down by the pool on the meadow during the day, or you can go on a hike and enjoy the fresh mountain air high above the Eickstal valley.
