Alex and his brother have created a precisely thought-out yet casual fusion cuisine at Gramme 11. Here, French sophistication meets Vietnamese flavours and the chef’s unmistakable Italian twist. The menu reads like a journey around the world: from Vietnamese porc chou farci to homemade gnocchi with gorgonzola to the absolute highlight: scallops with rice vermicelli and umeboshi. The restaurant is spacious, the open kitchen brings life to the room, and the warm atmosphere invites you to stay. The lighting is perfectly dimmed – cosy, but just bright enough to admire the artfully arranged plates. The concept: small dishes to share, accompanied by an exciting selection of natural wines. Wine is available by the glass, but if there’s nothing to your taste, they’ll open a new bottle without hesitation. Everything else is also perfect down to the last detail – even the bathroom is an experience in itself: blackened mirrors, disco music – a brief moment of club feeling. Gramme 11 is not a place to ‘just grab a quick bite’ – it’s a place where you want to stay and look forward to the next course.
