The Grand Central Oyster Bar is a true piece of New York and inextricably linked to Grand Central, as it has been around as long as the station itself. When the station opened in 1913, the bar followed only a little later, and even then it was all about oysters. It’s hard to believe, but no less than 5 million oysters are sold here every year. The Grand Central Oyster Bar is a place where hardly anything has changed and everything seems to stay the same, which is a good thing. It’s a must-see and must-experience place in New York.
