The caves of Castellana are among the most important attractions in Apulia and are an invaluable natural heritage for the whole of Italy. Its origins date back to 90 million years ago and its beauty cannot be expressed in words. During the tour, at a depth of about 70 metres, you will be immersed in an amazing world of stalactites, stalagmites, fossils, narrow gorges and caves. A truly overwhelming natural wound! Only those with claustrophobia should avoid a visit. The complete tour is three kilometres long and lasts two hours, the shorter tour is 1 km long and lasts 50 minutes.
