For about 20 years the Hesterberg family has lived on their majestic Hesterberg estate, surrounded by about five hundred Galloway cattle, a thousand free-range chickens and a similar number of geese. From the pasture to the slaughterhouse and own sale all steps are carried out on the estate. The species-appropriate keeping of the animals and the naturalness of the food has absolute priority in the production. The family offers visitors a taste in its restaurant. The menu changes daily and all dishes are prepared almost exclusively with the farm’s own ingredients. During the pre-Christmas and Easter periods, there is a particularly festive menu on weekends, such as roast goose. In summer you can sit in the beautiful beer garden and watch the hustle and bustle on the adjacent pastures. In winter you can dine in the stately, rustic interior. You can find all kinds of delicacies in the farm shop for your local fridge.
