Gut Klostermühle

On weekends, the Klostermühle Estate is a popular place for stressed Berliners who want to relax from their working week in the wellness area or in the Park am See. For many years the estate lay lonely and forgotten on Lake Madlitz until the Düsseldorf architect Walter Brune discovered it, fell in love with it and bought it. In years of work he transformed the old buildings into a restaurant, a wellness hotel and a riding stable. The wellness hotel offers rooms, suites and holiday apartments. Especially recommended are the corner rooms with lake view in the houses De Bruyn or Fontane. Although they are smaller than the suites, they have a double view of the lake and, with their bright wood-panelled walls, numerous windows and square form, they surround a very special chalet charm.
