The focus of the the traditional restaurant in old town Basle, Château Lapin, is Rösti. On the upper floor they are mainly served as sides, for instance to such dishes as Zurich ragout. On the bottom floor they are the main attraction. A loose and comfortable atmosphere prevails here. The ensemble of the Basle Theater can often be found here, as well as their audience, who will swing by in evening dress after a premier. Many tourists and Basle natives also come here.
