A couple from Paris, who lived in Melbourne for a long time, brought the spirit of Australia back to their native land. This can not only be seen in the cuisine, but is also reflected in the entire vibe of Holybelly, where young, hip Parisians meet, many of whom are seen typing away on their laptops. On the menu are pancakes as well as pain des amis, the best bread in the city, which is served with either jam or vegemite. The lunch menu varies, but will always include eggs with diverse sides and serious coffee fresh from the local roast house Belleville. The café is in a prime location. In this internationally influenced neighborhood one can also find, among others, New York filmmaker Marc’s Bob’s Juice Bar and Tuck Stop which is run by three Australian ladies.
