In the heart of Bregenz, between Lake Constance, the Kunsthaus, and the Pfänder, lies a building that is instantly recognizable—and unforgettable. Lisa Rümmele and Johannes Glatz, together with Herzog & de Meuron, have reimagined a historic townhouse and created a hotel that effortlessly combines architecture and atmosphere. Eight rooms, a long bar as a meeting place, a quiet courtyard. Art Nouveau meets contemporary forms, warm materials meet clean lines. Everything is well thought out, nothing is loud. In the morning, guests meet in the salon for breakfast, curated by the neighboring Weiss restaurant. Personal, quiet, extraordinary.
